Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Point

Charging Your Vehicle at Redford Caravan Park

For the safety of all guests and to help manage electricity usage fairly, electric vehicles must only be charged using the designated EV charging point.

Getting Started

To use the EV charging point, you will need an EV charging card, available from Reception.

A refundable deposit is required for the card. Once issued, you can top up the card with credit at Reception as required.

How to Charge Your Vehicle

  1. Go to the EV charging point.
  2. Insert your charging card into the card reader.
  3. The screen will display “Success”.
  4. Remove the card.
  5. Wait for the charging unit to turn blue.
  6. Plug your charging cable into your vehicle.
  7. Charging will begin automatically.

Returning Your Card

If you no longer require the charging card:

  1. Press and hold the red button on the charging unit.
  2. Insert your charging card.
  3. The display will show “B Good”.
  4. Remove the card.
  5. Release the red button.
  6. Return the card to Reception.

Important Information

  • A refundable deposit is charged for each EV charging card.
  • Any unused credit remaining on the card is non-refundable.
  • Only the original card deposit will be refunded when the card is returned.
  • Electric vehicles must only be charged using the designated EV charging point.
  • Charging from caravans, holiday homes, extension leads or standard pitch sockets is strictly prohibited.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring their vehicle and charging equipment are safe and suitable for use.
  • Redford Caravan Park accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or interruption to charging services.
